Description
Account Manager required for a global commerce software consultancy, which is actively expanding their client services business due to unprecedented growth. Experience working within Multichannel, e commerce, retail environments or pure online businesses is essential in role. As a Account manager you will be in full control of client relationships and you will be expected to engage directly to stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.

As the successful candidate you will be expected be to build relationships with clients that will enable you to understand client ecommerce and multichannel goals and objectives. The Account manager will be expected to work with other business units to propose solutions that can be delivered by (The Support business and Professional Services) working through change requests, new technical requirements and up selling professional services work. E.g. positioning of new technical solutions that delivers client benefits.

The Account manager will communicate both technical and all non-technical messages including estimations and cost explanation, internal processes and optimization, providing explanations where appropriate to ensure that client accounts have a thorough understanding of activity.


The day-to-day tasks within the role include the following core activity:

Client Success/relationship management - Engaging Client stakeholders at all levels within an organization, ensuring each customer is happy with the levels of service, Standards of implementation and general engagement. Demonstrating clear communication, excellent reading and writing skills. Ability to engage Managers, Directors of e Commerce, Multichannel, Marketing or Content.

Business Development- Understanding and scoping new opportunities in-line with clients business goals and objectives.

Low-level Business Analysis - The Account Manager will be expected to gain understanding of client objectives, through internal coordination and engage where a requirement is understood to assist the client in finding solutions that can be delivered.

Delivery Management - Working with the client services support manager and professional services to manage client relationships, updating clients on project tasks and deliverables.
